Man, I have a lot of questions tonight. So, I picked up a stripped Kong cab. I notice that the sidewalls seems to be thinner that most cabs and the T-moulding groove looks off center. Is this correct?

Yes, you've got the version with the infamous offset t-molding like me. Replacing the t-molding means you either need to fill the grooves with bondo and route new grooves, or get the next size up in standard t-molding and trim the side with the overhang. I got one of these babies for doing that when I get around to replacing the t-molding.

what i did was order the white nintendo molding from t-molding.com and before installation painnted the edge black. looks fine!

If you decide to go this route and not fill the groove and re-cut it then get the Tmolding from Mikes Arcade as it is the flattest available.
I tried all the others and it is the flattest.
The molding from tmolding.com still has a noticeable hump to it.
