Turned on my machines today, I noticed my Double Donkey Kong had the blues. I tried to adjust the monitor. I could not get any red!!

I called Dokert, he helped me with my first complete Rejuve. I have a 490 that I bought a few years ago on ebay.

Here is what it looked like when I started.

Out of curiosity, what made you all decide it needed a rejuve? I would have guessed transistors.

The Chassis was rebuilt a few months ago. We tested the tube, and it was in need of a rejuve. 2 of the guns were reading on the yellow line, about a 7 on the meter, after the rejuve all guns were up in the green reading 15 to 16. There was a chance the transistors could have been bad but since the tube needed a rejuve anyway, it was the logical place to start:D

did you do an actual rejuve or did you just clean the guns? most of the time just cleaning the guns does the trick and it's pretty rare that i have to do the full rejuve.

I did an actual rejuve. Have not used the clean the guns feature yet. Had no shorts so I did not have to do that either.

Man I can't wait for mine to get here. My monitor looks sad sad sad....not even as bright as your "Before" pic. Any improvement at all at this point would be a boon.

Good Deal, looks like a brand new screen, you'll have to show me how to use one of those rejuvinators. Looks like your getting better at Donkey Kong too. I recently topped a 100000 on the one you sold me.

Hey Matt If you need one rejuved bring it over:)

I'm hoping to use one on my Berzerk to bring the green back to life. I can't wait to see it after. If it's half as good as your results I'll be happy.

We took the guess work out of the equation by testing the guns first. Two of the guns were in the bad range, which told us that it was the tube and not the transistors. Left the monitor in place to test the guns, just pulled the anode and neck board to run the test.
