There was once a stapled piece of paper on the top back on my Donkey Kong right under the serial number plate

When it was converted to a VS a sticker was stuck over it.

I would like to make a repro of the original piece of paper without the VS FCC updated sticker on it.

Can some send me a nice close up of it? scan or even better if someone else already made it!

So I tried to peel off the sticker and it took the printing off the sticker under it. I scanned mirrored it etc

after a bunch of kerning and line spacing I think its perfect.

Does it match correctly to unconverted original Donkey Kongs?

I also made a new monitor adjustment sticker too -- kerning seemed off on the one I got from Mike's Arcade

I zipped up both docs and attached them -- so anyone can grab them

I think you're spot on enough that most people wouldn't know the difference. You did a great job reproducing those.

So when are you going to post a link with the files for all to enjoy? :D

I always share -- Its a word doc though -- not an image

So I'll have to find a place to put it. I'm happy to email it to whomever PM's me with their address

so I'm pretty sure its correct I held it to the light one on top of the other and its all matched

My question was more about it being on an unconverted DK and my assumption being that the sticker was from the VS conversion. Although I could be wrong and maybe its was required for import?

I'm guessing I'm correct though since the VS had an RF cage around the PCB's so it probably had an updated FCC sticker

Both my DK's have the sticker parts still on them.
They are both unconverted DK's.

I vectorized this same FCC label a while back, but I can't find the original file. Of the 10 or so I printed, I used most of them and gave the rest away. Now I need like 4 of these damned things.

Wont a 300dpi scan suffice? What did you need vector for?

Actaully I didn't know it was on Mike's arcde or I may not have made it. That said I think a word or AI version would be cripser (i gotta say that I spent an evening getting spacing all hooked up!).

I only saw the monitor one on Mike's previously

Does anyone else have an FBI sticker on the back door?

Hey all,

My two cents. The FBI sticker probably came from the VS. kit as well.

I am working on a Vs. Goonies cab at the moment (in a DKjr.) and I wanted it to be a pristine convert. Anyways...I wound up getting a sweet little deal off of ebay. Someone was selling an unopened Vs. unisystem kit manual with all the goodies still inside. Here's a pic for your reference.

It also confirms the sticker over the original is from a Vs. kit...if you had any doubts.

Thanks that does look like the shredded faded remains of the FBI sticker on my back -- so I'll just rip the rest off

Thanks!

I've been meaning to so this very thing. If you can't find your files I'll do it. Should take more than a few hours.

I can output to .PDF, .AI and .EPS
