Dear industrialking (with feedback rating of 87.5%),
I was sitting around in my parent's basement all night and day with a few of my nerdish clown friends, talking about where and when we might all be able to get a life, when we started talking smack about the VERY RARE Special Edition Red Donkey Kong that you have been trying to sell on eBay for the past 4 or 5 months. Your claim that you bought this game for $2000 seems curious to us, as we are pretty sure that when your auction first came out a while back you stated you paid $3000 for it. Regardless, paying either price for this game simply speaks to someone spending way too much money for something that is worth about $500 at most. I would be deeply concerned if I were one of your business customers.
And on the topic of smart business decisions, we were wondering why a business owner such as yourself would be trying to sell a game for such a high price with such a crappy picture. If I had a game that had brand new decals, glass, monitor, controls, and everything, I would take lots of high quality pictures so people could see I wasn't just talking out of my ass, trying to run a scam or something. Especially since Donkey Kong has no glass, the bezel is plastic, and it requires a special type of monitor that hasn't been made in about 30 years. Sure, you could have bought a new monitor when they were still available, and used a converter to make it work, but that sounds like nerd work to me, and probably not something you are up to.
Anyway, good luck with the sale, and in the future, you may want to spend sometime reviewing some of the talk on websites centered on video games, as it might save you a bunch of money next time.
