If it makes you feel any better I missed it too!
Well....8 beyotches on a beyotch boat!
I just logged in to the forums for the first time in like a week, notice I have a PM about this from the seller, go to his thread for it, and what do I see? BOOM SOLD
So much for my DK3. Looks like it's still the multiboard life for my DK3.
If it makes YOU feel any better you missed it by a matter of a few minutes.
Nope! lol
But hey if you find a couple more give me a shout as well.
I've got a Donkey Kong 3 kit I've been meaning to sell. Off the top of my head it includes:
No side art. All art is in very good (but not mint) condition.
- PCB in the cage
- Marquee
- Bezel (includes lower bracket if memory serves)
- Fully populated control panel with wiring (stick needs cleaning and re-greasing)
- Okert/Flagg repro "Super Nintendo" wiring harness (unused)
I need to fish all of it out of my storage room, take pics, and figure out how to pack all of it. I'll try to get to that soon and then post a "for sale" ad. I am not interested in selling it piecemeal. Really want to sell it as a kit to someone who needs it.
SanTe... I may be interested in the kit if the price is right as well if you want to let me know. I need the art as well, minus the bezel. Probably will be out of my range as well unless you are willing to keep the bezel out as that would save me a few bucks (especially on shipping).
Considering the PCB cage's dimensions and weight leaving the bezel out will make no difference in the shipping cost at all, and I don't want the cage nor do I want to throw it out. I'd also prefer not to break this up.
I took pictures of everything tonight. I need to test the board first though. It was sold to me as working but I've never used it, and I want to verify its condition first. Also, I'm not sure which version of the Okert/Flagg repro wiring harness I have or if it's missing anything. It appears to be from the first run in 2010, so I think it supports DK/DKJr/DK3 but not Popeye or Mario Bros. I've sent photos to Okert to check. I did not buy the harness new from Okert; I got it later in a trade.
As soon as I verify that my harness is not missing anything and the PCB works I will post this kit for sale. I need to research pricing of DK3 kits and individual parts first too. Not looking for the moon but I do want a fair price for it.
