dude, that looks awesome (except for the joystick)
Is that a nintendo joy with a red ball attached?

nice one, I also Love the dark Blue.

How to you get allowed to make a DK II if there are only going to be 100 of them? I would not mind adding one to my collection then also Making it available to Midwest Gaming Classic every years Since I am there anyway.

I know that you used to be able to buy them from arcadeshop but I was told they no longer sell them or did i hear wrong, or it was an add on to a DK board???

Ok I am confused..(it does not take much either)...What is the deal with there only being 100 made?

Donkey Kong II (D2K) is a fan made sequeal to Donkey Kong. Back when Jeff put out the game, This Old Game (i.e. Rich from KLOV) made special art kits for D2K so you could convert you Donkey Kong into a Donkey Kong II. They're super nice. Everything was silk screened (CPO, Bezel, Marquee, Sideart.) It was all custom made in the same vein as the original DK artwork. They came with reproduction numbered serial plates. The whole idea being, "this is what D2K would have looked like, had Nintendo released it."

Rich did 2 runs. My understanding is that those first two runs are all sold out. Apparently there were 100 of these original kits. Now he's doing inkjet versions of the art. http://www.thisoldgame.com/products/d2k-inkjet-full-art-package

Maybe not as nice as the silk screened runs but about $100 cheaper. Instead of getting the whole bezel, cpo, and marquee, you get decals to add to your own plexi.

Thanks for that!

1oo kits

i last heard from rich that there were only 100 of these original kits. some people bought 2 or 3. so there are not a 100 of them out there.just the potential. rich really hit a homerun with this.
