Well you could move the Mattress out...:)

Are you considering black light?
Lights
Carpet
Paint for the walls

Or are you leaning more Man Cave?
Comfort and Dark tones?

yes the matress will be gone.

I wouldnt mind blacklights, I have had them before along with white blacklights in the marquees.

man cave...naw an arcade room.
Id love blacklight carpet, but the cost might push me to just a darker color.

I really have thought of the old school theme park rides. Either painting the walls and hanging pictyures of old school awesome rides or airbrusing a wall to look as if your looking out into the park and some rides from the arcade...That is if there is enough space on the walls.

Is there carpet in there already? I would suggest an area rug, black light/flourescent is available. Reasonably priced from Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Joy-Carpets-Shock-Wave-Rug/11539543. (They have a few)

Paint the walls dark, or go with the theme park idea. Just remember the games will block most of it.

Put in a bunch of outlets on multiple circuits and don't forget outlets up high for signs, neon, etc. and maybe in the ceiling for black lights, etc.

Paint can always be changed.....

Hey thanks for the link I never knew walmart carried that..nice. I can pretty mush find a size that will cover damn near the whole room. I already have outlets two per wall so that should be good and also would love to black light it out. The games covering most the walls are what kills me Id love to be able to show items or posters, but it is what it is and will most likely paint some cool shiz...thanks

I would leave the mattress if you buy more games and the wife does not approve, you still have a place to sleep;)

That was my last marriage, this lady is cool with it all...LOL for right now at least. She said that I had plenty of room to put my games were i wanted them, why would I want to leave some space...Of course I replied that way I know how much room I had to fill with what size games..I think she rolled her eyes...
