I just moved a Moon Patrol with a G07 monitor into my basement. Opened the bottom back door of the machine and the top door fell through, hitting the neck board and breaking the bulb sitting between the neck board and the monitor there. So, did I just destroy my monitor, or can this piece of glass be replaced? Thanks

If you broke the glass that the neckboard attaches to, then the tube is now garbage. The chassis is still good (provided it worked before), and you can pull the yoke off the tube before you toss it, just in case you want to try swapping everything over to a 19" TV tube....

Yep, that tube is done for. All the glass is one big piece. Plus, you lost the vacuum (which was the hissssss you probably heard) and most likely damaged the guns inside. The tube itself is irrepairable by any means, but the chassis and neck board is probably still good and should definitely be saved.

You can buy a replacement tube for the GO7 at the following source if you don't want to hassle with trying to tube swap from an old TV, etc.

They are $129 plus about $35 for shipping. They do ship the tubes in very nice tube boxes that are properly reinforced.

I ordered two from them not too long ago...

Some recycling centers will give you $8 for the tube. Remove the yoke and all metal.

Did you get them yet ? Do you like them ?

Yes, I got them... Those pictures are of them in my entry hall. :) They look very clean, but I have not dropped one in a game yet. I do believe my Joust is going to get the first one. This is not the first time I have ordered tubes from that vendor. My Tempest got a nice new tube from them before they ran out of 19VLUP22 tubes. :cool2:
