Donating to the IVGHOFM. Is anyone going back to IA from CAX?
Hey all,
I'm thinking about donating a Blockade I have to the Blockade I have to the International Video Game Hall of Fame & Museum in IA. I've corresponded with Walter and he and the others there would definitely appreciate the addition to their collection. I'm working with folks from the Portland Area Collectors (PAC) to get it down to CAX. Would any forum members happen to have room for this and be able to get it to Walter or whomever in IA from CAX?
It's a 1976 game and still works quite well. It's not a very fun game, but if you can imagine a very early version of TRON light cycles it does get a pretty tense. Its definitely part of the arcade history we all know and love.
Anyway, if someone can do this let me know. If no one can would any one be interested in purchasing it if it was brought to CAX? If it couldn't get to IA it may find a good home in an esoteric collection of sorts. Let me know thoughts all. Thanks.
Fred
