Are you currently building a MAME cabinet or converting an original?

Perhaps you are an Arcade classic enthusiast reliving the past long forgotten?

Have you started downloading emulators and roms and finding them not working as you hoped or coming with a virus?

I have done the work for you and have the MAME32 program with over 3,500 Arcade Classic Games for MAME32.

All 3,500 Arcade game perform as perfect as it's original fashion, it will not dissappoint!

I'm NOT selling the games for profit, I'm merely selling the labor cost of downloading, checking, and performing audits on all the ROMS to ensure it's functionality.

If you have questions feel free to send an email. I will also provide a list of games available.

Thanks for looking and good luck building your MAME cabinet.

THANKYOU FOR LOOKING MY NAME IS NICK AND YOU CAN CONTACT ME AT 847-502-3551 THANKYOU

Funny he posts a Chicago area code in Denver.

How is this any different than people taking old cabs, putting in a multiboard and selling it for 1k? Some klovers were even defending that the other day.

he can call it whatever he likes, it's still theft.

"yeah, i'll sell you this DVD. it's not original, but i'm just charging you for my labor to make the copy, verify that it plays, and for the blank media."

Exactly the same. I personaly don't have a problem with people who want to download games and put them in MAME. Yea, it's illegal, but it dosen't bother me that other people do it. Where I start having a problem is the people who try and rationalize it to make themselves feel better by coming up with faux loopholes.

Not what I'm pissed about. I'm all for open source, especially when it comes to preserving history (and I do consider vintage games part of history). I'm more pissed that all this dude is doing is selling something thats supposed to be open source already. It's like me burning Ubuntu Linux to a CD and selling it to people as my own OS, or rather charging people $40 for my time downloading it and the blank media, then trying to say I didn't profit off it.

This would be like me spending all my time, hours and hours and months and months developing a program that helps people hack into wachovia.com and steal people's bank account #'s.... then get pissed when somebody sells my program since I give it away for free.

At the Wizard World Comic Con conventions there are many vendors selling bootlegs dvds full of all the rom/emu packages, Including MAME.

I asked about the legality of them loudly in front of customers..

The owner of the booth just as loudly claimed these to not be them and are in fact legal 'copies'.

He had 5 screens all going with people playing...

This afternoon I found a guy on eBay (It will be pulled I'm sure) selling a DVD set of all the PinMAME ROMS, tables, manuals, and software. I'll have to be honest, I briefly toyed with the idea of buying the set. Not that it is right that he profits off someone elses work, but as we all know the downloading, collecting, and auditing of the ROMs is a huge effort. In fact it is my least favorite part of getting a MAME box up and running. His price was way too expensive, but there is unfortunately a market for this.

Ok then all is well. Some guy thought it would be cool to flag my post.

Do you have it in the "Wanted" section? If so, then you're fine. If you put it in electronics or something, it'll get flagged.

Durr. Just checked, yes you do.
