why would games like, mk1,2,3, nba, ect
need what is essentially a large pinball x former?
its the same size and type as early 90s wms pins

that assy in Termnator had a lot of uses.

Isolation transformer and multiple low voltage outputs for things like the coin door lights and solenoids in the guns.

MK wouldnt NEED all those voltages but it would probably work.

They don't need it but you could still likely use the T2 transformer in those cabinets. The additional 24.5V output intended to drive T2's gun coils and flashlamps would be unused.

one funny thing about the t/2
game, it still had a separate iso x former from the factory at bottom of cab too

then someone added that. all these games just had the large transformer. I found that in a KI once and I pulled the extra iso and used it somewhere else. had some junk Wei-Ya monitor, I swapped the proper Polo in its place.

pinball has different power needs, they're not the same.
