Hey all,
Finally broke down and purchased some K7000 flybacks to get some of my spare chassis up and running. Below is some pics of one of the flybacks purchased from an online source that shall remain nameless. Anyways, the ferrite core is a little loose and you can see whats coming out in the pics. Just wanted to get your take on weather this flyback should be good to go or if its factory defective and destined to die early.

they look like crap with all the sloppy glue and silicone on them but that is not a functional issue. if you have any with a loose ferrite core i toss them in the garbage because in my experience selling these they tend to arch so i don't take any chances when i sell them to people but i do check all mine before they go out the door. some people may take the time to glue it down but i personally would never do that to mine and send them out the door. i would personally have the seller exchange the ones with loose cores or damage.
