We used to go here in the 80's on vacation, I remember playing Popeye, Defender, Stargate, Ms Pac, Pac, DK here. I was my only salvation from the blazing hot sun as my mother loved the beach and would drag my father, 2 brothers and my sister out there every day on vacation. Always at high noon too. She would get so irritated with me for hanging out in the arcade. Man I hated the ocean back then. That arcade was like heaven in sun scorching July hell.

Never been to Sunset beach so I'm not sure. Not many fishing piers left really. Most get blown down during hurricanes and hotels are paying the landowners good money for the land. Might have to go out there one day.

It was an awesome pier, I know the end was blown off in a hurricane, but it is still there today. And the building with the arcade is still there. That area is fun, there was this awesome resturant near there called Simms country BBQ. In a barn in the middle of a tobacco field. Pulled pork, corn bread, bluegrass, clog dancers.

That's the only thing I could find via google while I was bored tonight. Talk about a crappy website when you're trying to sell yourself, they don't even have any pictures.

Wow awesome! It is enough to know that it is still an arcade! I wonder how many games they have and if they are classics.
