I dont know what it is but every time I am picking up a game, it turns everyone close to me into a freaking lunatic. Two recent examples, but I think its happened on every game pick up.

I went to get a crusin exotica friday night and we have kittens in the garage, so from earlier in the day it went from "cool im so excited for this game" to when im about to leave "if you let the kittens out there gonna die in the cold, why are you getting this game, this is stupid, what the fuck"... Which then led to the next day, "babe this game is so much fun"

Then sunday morning my dad is helping me move an asteroids deluxe. Get to the place, and instantly from "hey my buddy got this game you should get it" to "I mean it, this is the last time, stop spending money".. which then leads to the NEXT day, "you gonna take the coke machine he has to?"...

Anyone else get this?

Ha ha, only when I decide to bring a newly aquired game to her house instead of mine. Especially a sit down driver :D

No, and I really couldn't deal with that kinda shit. I either grab games myself or get them with friends. I had half a dozen motorcycles when I met my wife. I'm down to one, and every hobby I've had since seems low key and cheap after that.

Yes, to a lesser degree....but honestly, I'm such an idiot with straps that I'm not sure that I could deal with picking up games without my wife. I don't have the spacial recognition skills necessary apparently to hook them into our seats in our highlander, and it drives me freaking INSANE with rage.

My wife has gone to every game we've picked up, and helped load/unload every one. There's no way in hell I'd have been able to move those pins or the big blue without her. :|

I keep my game-buying habits in the closet... If my family/friends knew I picked up another game toni... Errr, nevermind.

Lol everyone around me loves them and the hobby. Im just saying the second im either gonna leave to get a game or im bringing it in the house it flips a switch on everyone

Ditto. I usually get really hyper when I get a new game but that's about it. Everyone I know wants to play it when I do get one :D

When Im going on a road trip to pick up a game, Im pumped up the whole way there and back. Its an adrenaline rush, thats for sure.

My wife and friends could care less about my games with the one exception being the Megatouch I bought for my wife. Picking up a new game is always a fun thing for me, and I look forward to any chance I get to do it.

Yeah I love picking up a new game. Hell I love the road trips. Im saying its everyone else around me. Not me

I have way too many games to get overly excited about picking one up. Usually it's "Where the hell am I going to put THIS one?"

I get more excited about games leaving - because now I have space. I need to get rid of at LEAST 8 cabs out of the garage. I can barely walk around now s it is. My wife is even more excited when a game leaves than I am, even though she doesn't complain about them being here...

I agreed with Mod. My favorite "new" game is one I can pull from storage and restore, to replace one I've sold. Gotta make room for one of these EM pins...

so, is it your dad with the being down on your game getting? i can't really tell from the post.

but yeah, it affects my mood. i get real happy and excited, it's like the hunt for a toy or something that you finally find.
