Does Capcom Bowling suck?

Capcom Bowling

I have a Coors Light Bowling, same game.

It's not bad, but it's what it is a bowling game. It gets the most play out of the games besides the pins. Has cool music and sounds people seem to like.

Great game for the price. Was thinking of adding a Golf game, there are tons out there for sale.

Does the coors light do anything differnet besides have the name? any different animations? etc?

Coors light

I'm not sure? I can't recall Capcom. Same wood alleyways and hook play

It has beer frame and does cool stuff in between frames? The game actually has the larger tracball 4inch, which is cooler than the smaller one, I think anyway.

I traded a Capcom Bowling cab (Centipede conversion) for my Firepower pin. The new owner loves his CB cab - his kids play it all the time.

So, I have a special place in my heart for that game. It got me into pins. :D

Capcom Bowling

I just picked up a Firepower pin, gettin it ready to go currently. Needs new rubbers, lights, some playfield touchups not bad. But she works and all the sounds are there. Cool pin for first multiball.

While we are talking about Capcom bowling if anyone has the vector file for this CPO or if they have one laying around I really could use it to make my game look mint. Thanks

Game play and sounds are exactly the same, but most graphics and animations have a Coors Light spin to them...

The game is good, but it was one of those games that a lot of classics were converted to. Like how every Mortal Kombat was converted to a Golden Tee.

Yeah a lot of great games are hated for that exact reason. I also also think Arkanoid is one of the greatest games of all time, but many hate it because of the conversion factor. I look at it a bit differently though...
Because of Arkanoid and Capcom Bowling, we can find cabs like Tron, Tempest, and Journey for pennies on the dollar ripe for restoration :)
I blame the coin ops more than the kit manufacturers for destroying classic cabs with their hack job conversions, but even then, you wonder how many of these cabs would have been sent to the junk yard were it not for conversion kits :)

Yeah...WHY do OPs do that!

Take a great game and turn it in to BOWLING or GOLF!

It's all about the coins, magne!
I remember when Golden Tee was everywhere....even if you didn't play golf, you wanted to play Golden Tee back in the late 90s...And if you didn't, it was hard to avoid them...It seemed like every bar in town had one as their sole arcade game.

Yes Arkanoid is a AWESOME game, like almost every Taito game ever made. Funny thing is if a vector cabinet has been converted, it is the death of that cabinet. Most collectors don't want to take it in because those color vector monitors are so hard to find. I think a lot of them got trashed when the games were converted. They were probably converted because the monitor was bad.

Daaaamn that's as close as I've seen to a CPO for the dedicated cab. :( I really need one for mine too as it's just destroyed, but I've been thinking of installing something generic just because mine is that torn. Mine was operated by a local vending company during its life before I snagged it at a Super Auctions for $1. It was missing a few parts and the cab had been abused, but definitely worth having.

I uploaded a vid of a few rounds of Coors Light Bowling so you can see a few of the differences. Obviously there are a lot more animations than shown in the 20 frames I played, but hopefully it helps :)

I had one for a good while this year, ended up selling it to make room for a grail. I liked it but didn't play it much myself because it's more fun with multiple people. The older adults really like it allot and still ask about it four months later. i may buy another when we move into our bigger place.
