Anybody know anyone who repairs Impulse and/or Premeir/Mission crane PCBs? The few crane PCB repair guys I have found say they dont work on them, or know anyone who does.

Most of the crane board issues I have seen are related to connectors, wires falling out of the connector, or bad solder joints on the connector pins. That, or dead power supplies.

What is the problems you are seeing?

The company I work for routes these cranes, so we (them moreso than me) are familiar with the common problems. Have a couple boards that are sitting on the shelf from a while back, and one we just swapped on location that was returning to home when the crane got to the middle, and would always release as soon as it raised up to the top, before it returns home

I assume changing the board eliminated the problem in both cases.

If that's the case, if a schematic is available, I could probably help you figure out where the problem may be. However, lacking a crane to test this out on, I'd have no good way to test it out.

Thats the problem, we dont have a schematic. Id definitely try to repair it if I did. One of the crane repair guys, someone local, said he had schematics and he was going to scan them for me

Yup saw that one but no PCB schematic. Hoping this guy comes thru with PCB schematics
Did your "guy" ever come through with that schematic?
If you're still in need of a working board, I actually have quite a few spares (and a few spare gantrys too) for these cranes.

DM me if interested, I can sell you one (or a few). I'll just have to pull them out to test 'em first. But, I'm pretty sure the only reason I hung on to them was because I knew they were good, and I always like to keep spares just in case.
