Please help identifying this game. Rover Leisure Products is the only clue I have other than the pics. Thanks.

I can't make out anything on the screen but it looks like a Pong clone. What does it play if it works? What kind of controls does it have?

It is certainly one of the hundreds of different Pong clones out there. There are so many of them out there that many of them aren't even on klov at all. Many were made in very small numbers by tiny companies trying to grab a piece of the arcade game action.

It appears that Rover Leisure Products operated out of Arkansas in the 1970s, and appears to have not really been an arcade game company, more of a boat and RV dealer. Some old newspaper searches show some of their classified ads. The almost complete lack of reference to them on the internet tells me that you probably won't find much information on that particular game. It is probably fairly late to the action as far as Pong clones go (because of the color overlay). If I had to guess I would date it to 1976, based on the fact that they ran an ad for an electronics type person to help with their video game making in 1976 only to never mention them again in their later ads.

Tiny chance it is a Space Invaders clone instead but not very likely (particularly since you said the young lady described it as "Pong" on another message board). Is there a board in the thing?

That's funny you mention they were a boat and RV dealer, I had a really strange game in one time that was non working, can't even remember what it was but the nameplate on the game kind of pointed to it being manufactured by a CAR DEALER in texas. I guess everybody was getting into that stuff back then.

Thanks for the info. I never posted this before, I think it might be someone else trying to help out a person on the A.A. boards. This is just me also trying to help out and you guys here are the best and most knowledgable.
