If I ever had the opportunity I would love to pick this game up, but in past checks I've never seen it go for cheap, because I believe it's too new yet.

I'm an Aliens fan and would love to have this somewhere in my Garcade one day.

yeah its still a street earner. bitch be earning dough for her pimp.
here's something more your class:

you could get this for one benjamin and still have enough
left over for a case of pabst blue ribbon.

Yeah I'd taken a gander at that one yaggy, but man the Aliens: Extermination one just blows that away. It's worth the wait IMO.

Don't own one but played one at the "namco arcade station" at a local theater a couple months ago. Fun enough game, but it seems like you start with not much ammo, the alients take a ton of rounds to put down, and more ammo is extremely few and far between during play. They've got the quarter-muncher thing down to a science, but it was a real turnoff for me and the friends i was playing it with. Might have to go into the "great game if you don't have to keep pumping quarters into it" list. :)

I think I saw one for under $5k recently, but I am not sure if there is more than one version of this game - a regular and a deluxe. If that's the case, I was pretty sure it was the regular version.

Supposedly this game is interchangable with Paradise Lost but I'd guess they both cost similar money.

Might be a while before you can get one of these for $200 obo out of someone's garage.

When these first came out, there was a big problem with the guns not working, usually from the stress of a cable that wasn't quite as long as it should be. I was called to fix three separate machines and the manufacturer eventually put out a service bulletin for them. It was a pain in the butt to take the guns completely apart to do the fix and then put them all back together again.

As for playing it, I didn't find anything special about it....

i played it at CEC last year and had to wait forever to finally get a chance (it was always busy.) it was fun, worth waiting to play and dump a bunch of tokens in but there's no way i'd pay anything close to what it's currently going for.

if i had the space and the money, i might consider it for $1k or under. but really, if i had both of those i could get a decent pinball for that cash which i'd probably enjoy a lot more in the long run.

I have posted it before. But for those that missed it, I think Aliens:Extermination is the best gun game ever made. And yes, that machine eats quarters like Pacman eats pellets. Lucky for me, my favorite gun game is Zombie Raid.

Havent had that problem with any I sold yet but at least I know now of a potential problem.

Sure has a cool looking cabinet! I saw one at a skating rink not too long ago. It will probably be a game I end up owning 20 years from now... WAY too expensive still.

Its not only a problem on Aliens but also on Paradise Lost. I use silicone jacket wire when I fix them and NEVER have to work on the guns until the pots go bad!

Great game. Play it every chance I can. The deluxe version is the only way to go on it.
