does anyone in your house say "goodnight" to your games??

For about the past 2 weeks now, my almost-5 year old has been saying "goodnight" to all of the game cabinets in the garcade.. I just had to ask if anyone else's kids do this???

She goes around, one by one, and says "goodnight Ms. Pac, goodnight TRON", etc.

I usually ask them how they are doing. And I let them know If they have a big night ahead of em when I have company over.

Does hugging a cabinet count even though I don't say anything?

I've always enjoyed those NAMCO boards that shout "GOOD MORNING" when you turn them on.

I have given a few of my cabinets a good hug in the past, especially if I accomplished a major repair or if it was a game that I had been looking for for a long time.

after all the nights that my buddy neil and i stay up late drinking and playing galaga, i like to give him a little hug goodnight and tell him that i appreciate him being a horribly difficult little bastard (on Rank D) that pushes us to exorcist-like swearing and borderline alcoholism. and then i softly cry myself to sleep.

A friend of mine used to come over, get drunk and hump the side of my Ms. Pac-man.

On a completely different note, when I sold my Dig Dug, my daughter had been taking a nap. When she came downstairs and saw that it was gone, she said "where's Doug?". She is now 3.
