I currently have a "dedicated" Sinistar cab that is running off of a jrok board with a JAMMA harness. I plan to remove the board for a Multi-Williams cab so that I can play the horizontal games. I was hoping that I could get a working Sinistar board set and PS and use some form of adapter to run it through the existing harness. Does something like this exist or do I need to rewire the cab?

The simple answer is No. The long winded answer is.... yes you can create a Jamma to Williams boardset adapter and the info is on Robotron2084UK.

Thanks Dokert, I Googled Robotron2084UK and really couldn't find anything. Do you have a link? HAve you ever created a Jamma to Williams boardset adapter yourself?

I have an awesome Williams to Jamma adaptor harness someone built a few years back with a box for settings buttons. I can't recall who made them.

With the 49 way stick connection it would be a bit of work. I really like the JROK board in my Sinistar as it is rock solid!

Thanks Michael. I have no problem with the jrok in my Sinistar cab. As you say, it is definitely rock solid. However, if I want to create a MW cab to play the horizontal games, I will either need to move my current board or locate another one. And we all know how hard it is to come by a jrok board these days.

Any opinions or sources for other MW boards? I like the jrok, but have heard of a 19-in-1 available from arcade shop (though I couldn't find it on their site). Any others?
