Documenting (video) our games for others to view...

I've been thinking about the 50-60 machines I've owned over the last 3.5 years (that I've been in the hobby), and it occurred to me that others may be interested in veiwing these machines in action. I often look on youtube for machines I'm interested in, to see if I would like them, or how they play...and more often than not, there are no videos (or very few at best) on the machines I am looking for.

Since these machines will continue to age, and more and more of them will end up in the landfill (or at best in a private collection), I though it wise to document the games I have/had, so that others can see the beauty, gameplay, and peek into a period of time when these machines were at their prime.

I would suggest others do the same, so we can create a network of videos for others to enjoy. Posting them here is all fine and dandy, but what about the rest of the world? This may also help in promoting the hobby.

I know my video quality is not the best, but at least it's a start. I will add more as games come and go.

Here is my youtube site. Enjoy.

I've made a few videos for the same reason -- either no examples existed or they were just recordings from MAME (often the emulation was flawed, too). Playing a gun game by using a mouse and crosshairs just ain't the same experience... by a longshot. It feels pretty nerdy making these videos, but they're getting views so it's not in vain. If you have a game and there's no videos of it in operation online, by all means, post something.

I have a video of a friend's collection, as well as the games I had when I lived in my apartment. It's on VHS (ugh).

This is the most recent video of the basement in our house now. It's from last year, and some things have changed. I need to make another one :) My youtube channel is mostly fire call responses, LOL.
