So this post is a 2 parter 
First to vent about Docent Electronics, if any of you buy from them. I placed a fairly substantial order with Docent on May 30 and paid the same day. A week later, I followed up to see where the order was, and I was presented with a "Oh... we did not get notification from PayPal to ship it". I ask f they could expedite the order now that it's been sitting and they said no. 5 minutes later I received a order cancellation and refund for my order, which I did not ask for.
I sent my criticism, that this is not the first order I had an issue with and if this becomes a normal thing I will need to find another distributor and that blaming PayPal is not a valid business excuse, nor is it my problem. If you need to manually follow up on your outstanding orders then you do what needs to get done to assist your customer base.
So I just got off the phone, well hung up on by Docent asking why this was cancelled and can we process another order. He told me he did not like the criticism and that he did not need my business and hung up the phone on me, all along continuing to blame and complain about PayPal.
So I have a customers machine, Gottlieb Close Encounters (SS) that I need the Driver Board connectors for (A3-J2, J3, J4 & J5) and cannot find them from anyone else, this is the second part of my rant
. Who else sells these edge connectors besides the ever friendly Docent because he will no longer process any order from me.
