Just curious...

Do you guys think Ms. Pac plays harder or is just slightly different on the 60 in 1 board? I just find the game to be way harder than I remember.

Seems pretty much the same to me. I've gotten just over 160k (with speed up) on mine, never got near that back in the day...

I have been avoiding the speed-up version. It really seems too easy.

I was just curious about this because I saw someone say they thought it was harder.

Regular seems the same as our ms pacman but speeded up version on the 60 in 1 is way to fast compaired to a speed up chip in a ms pac. It is so fast in the 60 in 1 that you can not even make corners.

+1... I have my Ms. Pac and my 60 in 1 side by side. My Ms. Pac does have a 96 in 1 upgrade but the 60 in 1 seems that much faster than the Ms. Pac.

Since they give you 2 "options" of ms pac, and virtually allt he pac's and galaga, I set up the 2nd versions (if youwill) to speed up for my buddy's machine. Leaving the original at normal speed.

I can't play slow any-Pac without falling asleep.

And I have no problems with corners on fast any-Pac. You just have to anticipate your turns.

The bigger problem is trying to make crisp turns while using an 8-way joystick...

i have an original pac joystick on mine with the arcadeshop board,i can get around 400k on it ,slow version really sucks!!!

I agree...non-fast Pac/MsPac bores the piss outta me. My first experience was on a fast Pac. So when I saw it on occasion at arcades and it ran super slow...I thought it was busted! LOL

Yeah my buddy hated the 8 way microswitch.
So I put in a 4 way leaf into his 60 in 1. It is good for the real classics. Some games it doesn't work so well.

I have my 2nd Ms. Pac set up as fast but I just think it is cheap. SLOW Ms. Pac is way more challenging. WAY MORE!

i like it slooowwww sorry my keyboard stuck
