Do You Stockpile PCBs?

I have at least two spares of every game I have, some I have more because the boards were cheap and I want to sit down and fix them. Although I can't seem to find the time yet. I have plenty of test equipment but it just sits for now, drives me crazy to think about it sitting and I can't get to it.

I also have to say I go a bit further and almost all the chips and parts to repair each board.

this thread seems to put a hole in the "parting it so others can live" argument. It would seem there are plenty of parts already without parting more games. At least enough parts where many folks can have back up boards for every game they own.

I used to, then I got pretty good at fixing boards (except for Pole Position!! :004_ssleepy:). I have been selling them off lately.

It also helps that Dick Millikan lives 20 minutes from me... :D

I have been selling my nintendo stuff... seeing as I no longer have any cabs, I figured I dont need this sh*t anymore!

Having said that, I know I will regret it as soon as I sell it all. :D

I would like to move on to hoarding Konami Scramble board/black box sets. If I could find any:eek:

I don't have any black box sets - so I guess mine would be called Stern Scramble? Anyway, I love Scramble and when I bought a bunch of PCBs from a dealer it had one. They were packed due to a move and over the years I picked up another one here or there. Anyway, I think I have 4 now, not because I'm hoarding, but because I can't remember a damn thing. As soon as I can get to testing these, I'll start selling!

It happened wit Double Dragon as well....:(
