do you save the ads for your CL trophies?

Whenever I score a game, I almost always try to make a copy of the original ad so I can tuck it in the folder with the game manual. It helps me remember where I got it, how much I paid, what else might have been going on at the time, etc.

I also usually keep the Mapquest printout too. :D
 
Nope, but I bought a game where the owner left that info in the game manual. It helped me determine a good price once I saw what he paid for it.

I copy and past the ad into a word doc and save it that way, mostly as a record as to how much I bought it for also for the "before" pics.
 
I do, too. I save the whole ad. Don't have any here at work, except one that I MISSED out on (assuming it was real):

Along the same lines, I wish I'd have kept a list of the various games that have passed through my hands over the years and what happened to them, restored/smashed/sold/ect.

It's scary to look at old pictures and say, "I don't remember having a Robotron cab back then?"
 
I fell over some old invoices recently...

Brand new games direct from the distributor.
Wish I could re-live some of those moments,
or taken more photos...
