Growing up, there was this gas station/convenience mart that had a Centuri Vanguard that I remember. It must have had other stuff. But that is all that I remember. My parents bought it with very little capital and had to close it after a couple of years. My brother and I bought it from him. He used the gas station, and I remodeled the house behind it. He ran his half into the ground, and it took me a long time before he needed the money. I bought him out and remodeled the building. I rented it out to a tree service guy that just used it for a store front. He had a "caretaker/bum" that died in my back room.

I moved on from that tenant to a hairdresser. She was no trouble but decided to buy another property in town. Next was a crazy unemployed lady that had an antique store that was supported by her husband. That was a mess. But the rent was never too late. Then, the flood hit. I had 2' of water in both my house and gas station. It took years to recover from that. I then found an outlaw biker gang to rent my building. That lasted until last year. I now have to remodel for a new renter.

This place has given me many memories and taken much of my money.
