I was thinking about this yesterday and wondered if anyone was in the same boat. I own an Avengers in an older Taito cabinet that I absolutely hate. The cab is in excellent shape and I am happy with that, but it's just the game itself. It's so damn corny!! Maybe I should just swap a Taito game back into it, but it would require stripping the sides, and everything else that comes with the Avengers kit. I just don't wanna do the work and I don't think anyone would buy it if I put it up for sale, but who knows.I also hate my TURBO cabaret mini. The game is so difficult, but I can't bring myself to sell it because I love the look of the machine itself. I can stare at it all day and not play it. What do you own and hate?

Yeah, I wouldn't say "Hate", but I hardly ever play.

Make Trax. Only reason I keep it is because it's a Williams game and is part of the Williams row.

Centipede has been pissing me off lately, mainly because of those god damn spiders that just shoot at you from nowhere! But I cant get rid of it, I love how it looks and I know Ill never find another HUO.

I have PCBs of games I hate that I keep just because my friends like them (Bad Dudes for example). I wouldn't keep a full cabinet of a game I hate though.

Nope if the playability is weak then it's got to go, these are too big to hang on to lack luster performers.
+1
If the game sucks or I don't like it, it's gone. Regardless of how desirable, sought after or rare it might be.

I dislike my Rygar. Since it's in a Super Pac cab I won't get rid of it. I may convert it back someday.

I definitely have a hate/love/hate relationship with my Qbert. Its currently working now, but that little orange bastard has put me through more hell than any game I've ever owned. To make it worse, my friend just saw one in 100% shape sell at auction for 325-350. I'm about 900 dollars into mine. Its like this, the only way I can come out to the good on that game is if my family buries my ass in it when I die. 900 bucks would make a pretty cheap casket. And the plexi could make a nice viewing window. I have thought about selling it, but I don't stand a snowballs chance at even getting close to what I have in it(unless I fully restore it and ebay it.) Oh well, maybe some day when I forgot about the ulcer its given me, I will be able to play it and enjoy it again.

I don't think there's any game anyone has that they wouldn't sell... For the right price.

I have 2:
dedicated deco cassette system. But its getting a widel kit, so its a keeper.

firefox. long term project is to mame it. Then it would be a keeper.

Zaxxon - I don't HATE it, but it's definitely on my bottom 20 list of games I never "got."

But it looks really good in the office, and it's an example of restoration that I like to tell the story of to people who come over and ask about owning full sized arcade games.

It would be the first to go if I had a grail show up that I could afford. Actually I'd trade it and my DK CT in a heartbeat to get a good upright or cabaret in here.

For some of my games, it would have to be an obscene amount of money...

Well, yeah. If there's some sentimental value or something. But for $1,000,000, most folks would sell their own mother.

Super Pacman cocktail. I hate the game, and only bought it thinking I could use a multipac kit on it. It was about 4 years ago before I got into arcade games.

But since it was my first game I just can't sell it. Plus I think it's a really cool looking cab, the game play hasn't grown on me though.
