Do you guys use Triple Thick or Krylon Clear your glass bezels? I know this is common in the pinball world but I wanna know how many arcade owners use this????
I do if it needs it or shows signs of needing it but if there's no issue currently I don't invite trouble. Thing about that clear is that nobody really knows what it will do to the ink 5-10 years from now. Good to save what's already dying but don't accidentally poison the healthy
I use Krylon Triple Thick on glass marquees & bezel that either are starting to flake or lifting, etc. just don't over spray on the glass viewing area on bezel only spray the art or you be seeing blurry!

Yeah I cover all of the see through parts..... There is 2 products from Krylon. The triple thick and Crystal Clear. It sounds like most used triple thick which sounds like you can do in one application and the Crystal involves multiple aps.
@prok-There's been some pin people that have used this stuff since the early 90's. Have you had a bad experience with one of the products?

i've used triple thick on pin backglasses and it works well. the only thing is to make sure you don't go too close with the can on the first coat, as sometimes the pressure of the spray can make the flaking worse.
