Hey guys,

Anyone here put LED's in your Black Hole pin?

I'm looking to find out...

Where did you put them, backbox, GI, or controlled (playfield inserts)?

Upper playfield only, or both playfields?

What about the lower playfield GI lights that light up the playfield when your ball drops down? (they're higher voltage).

Do they flicker at all?

Where did you get them?

Any pictures of your game with them lit up?

Thx for the info.

Hi Tom,
I have some in the backbox and upper PF GI in mine. No flicker and they look good. Some came from cointaker and some from pinballlife. Sorry I dont have any pics atm. I just threw them in for testing because its what I had laying around and my machine is a project pin. There is a guy on youtube that had some vids of his with LEDs

Did you ever end up putting them in yours ?

I'd love to see some pics.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did. It came out looking great...at least I think it did.

My camera does not take pictures of led's or neon very well, but here's what I have. I put LED's in both the GI and the inserts and in the lower playfield as well. My pop bumpers have small circuit boards in them with leds that look like black hole printed on them is spinning. Those replaced the light bulbs in the pop bumpers. Like Ken said, I too put blue LEDs in the backbox and they look good too. Almost too bright but what the heck.

Drop me a line if you have any questions about it.

Tom

Got the boards from Zitt on here. I don't think he has any more available since he had my boards made up as part of a different board order he was placing. Drop him a line on here, you never know he might have made some extras. They're way cool looking and worth it.
