Lizard lick and jamma boards sell a fused emi filter with built in switch just wondering how many of you guys use them?
my konami cab had 4 fuses and a stand alone emi filter. the wiring was pretty crazy. 2 fuses between AC power from the power supply to the Iso transformer, then the other 2 fuses were between AC power from the outlet to the power supply. then the emi filter was also wired into all that.
I removed all of it. I figure any one thing in that old power setup could go at any time and cause the game to stop working.
I installed the the new fuse and filter power module and cleaned up all the wiring. much simpler now. Anybody else do this?
