Do you get anxious...

No I love when people want to play the games.

I do get pissed when I find drink rings on the control panels or playfield glass.

Has only happened a few times that I remember but NO drinks on the games is the only rule.

I don't mind when they slap the joysticks or machine gun the flippers they were made for harsher environment than my basement.

Great replies everyone. Thanks for all your insight. I do get enjoyment out of seeing people enjoying the games. I just want them to respect the games and the time and effort Ive put into them. We are having Thanksgiving at our house this year and lots of family will be over that have not seen all my games. Im sure there is going to be plenty of interest so Im going to have them all fired up and ready to play. I wont lie , Im gonna be keeping my eye on things. LOL But I want everyone to have a good time and enjoy the arcade experience that I have to offer. Thanks again for all the great replies.

You should come back and tell us how it went.

Read every one who comes over the "Rules of the Arcade" right when the get there. Make it fun and use it as an opportunity to teach your guests about them, while giving them the rules at the same time. They will appreciate them a lot more and respect them when they see that they are part of your "collection" that you are letting them enjoy. Let them know you are looking for more games as well. Who knows, you may even get a lead on a game from somebody.

Excellent points. Thanks

I fire up all of them that are working and let everyone have at it.

If anyone can beat one of my high scores I jump in and promptly rectify the situation. =)
