Do you ever buy games for your kids??

My son fell in love with Panic Park at Caextreme about 5 years ago. I looked around for a couple years and was never able to find one.

i dont know if the multi cart is great for this one though. With the size, only a kid can play the game, and i dont like my kids playing the fighting games, which is uncommon as most parents are the opposite. Although there are a few kid friendl games in the multi, just that most are fighting. put bust a move or something in it and your kids will have fun. I dont know the production numbers, but there are those that really will want the game. Ive sold them from 400-1200 (the 1200 was years ago at the begining of ebay) yours is not in the greatestes shape, but i wouldnt take less than 400 for it if i was selling it. Someone offered you a asteroids mini, id say that a good fair trade, and easier to sell the asteroids mini, and you could get more for the asteroids.

The leprechaun is a different story. however, there are only a few that will pay the top dollar for them, and one of those buyers is broke, and the other already has one. There was a time when that was easily a 1000 game. I dont think you can get that now, but it is still worth a good amount, id say 600-800 on it. it lakes gameplay, so i doubt you keep it long

Ok dont really want her playing the fighting games. I will research the games and see if there are some good kids carts. If not maybe the asteroids deluxe mini would be cool. I just picked up a battlezone mini they would look good net to each other.

The Leprechaun she really likes. I dont like the game play but as long as she does I will prob keep it and putit in her room. It might be worth restoring.

It's just standard Asteroids, not Deluxe. Very serious though. I would even throw in a Turbo mini that needs some work, but looks decent, if that makes the deal sweet.

Sold my Mint dedicated Leprechaun for 400 to a buddy. I've got 2 more in the later style Moppet cabinets + a extra board, CP and maybe Marquee. (Would of had another one but it got stolen by a shipping company.) About to pull the boards from the working one to send off for loan to some one (For a big tournament coming up). There were two versions of the board. One says Tong Electronics on the attract screen and the other Polytech something on the attract screen. Do not know if there are any other differences. No idea how many Pot of Gold boards I have. :)

I bought one of the Super Mini Neo-geo at auction for 100 bucks. Had 2 carts in the coin door, one which I sold for 100 bucks. I can't remember what I sold the cab for maybe 200. Sold it to a KLOVer and I think he has already sold it to another KLOVer. They don't come up often.

You sold it to me and I then sold it to pseeds.

All my game choices lately are because of my kids. I just picked up a Super Chexx for my son, my other one asked for a foosball table and got one. Now they are asking if I can sell my Pacman cocktail(which was my 1st restore, but I never play it) and get Galaga. So I bought a mini cab from DPtwiz and I am building them a 60-1. If you don't get kids involved in the games, they are never going to want them later after you die, etc.. I see posts all the time asking if they should let a group of kids play their mint restored games and some people treat these things like museum pieces. You have to get everyone interested because it feeds the hobby and keeps it alive down the road when they grow up. If you are just in the hobby to restore and collect mint games without ever playing them, then sell em because they are meant to be played. My other hobby is classic cars and I see this all the time with the guys that hardly ever drive them or take them to car shows on trailers!!

I agree the kids are the future. My son is 17 only cab he really cares about is mario. I have the Arcade ledgends that my 3 year old loves. Her favorite game is bubble bobble. I have wanted to sell that machine but she loves it to much.

I did not know DPtwiz was selling mini cabs. Can you post a piicture?

I got a Wacky Gator primarily for my kids.
Since then I got a Mario Bros WB also for them.
(I need a couple of milk crates)

If you dont pick out a game for your kids, then i think you shouldnt be in this hobby. Otherwise, id say your selfish. I take my kids to auctions with me, I try to take them 1 at a time to have a special day with them. I have them pick out a few of the games that they would like to own.

That's nice. Especially when it's your kids who will play them the most. That's the main reason why I have a 4 player TMNT in the collection.

Ive made alot of money after selling the games they pick out.

Wait…what?!? Troy are you saying that you let your girls pick out the games they want and then you just turn around and sell it away from them? Just for profit?? What am I missing here???
