I dont know much about Leprechaun but my daughter likes it:) I read that alot of them were destroyed, by chucky cheese???

LOL... what's with the boy on the Moppet logo... it looks like he's yawning, because the game is SO boring :p .

my brothers kids loved to play trog At CAX. Thats one of the main reason I got a dedciated. They would play all 50 levels, everytime they came over.. then they would play a little primal rage..

Although the mini cabinets are cool, put a step next to a full size and the kids will play it.

My wife picked up a vs. Super Mario Bros at a garage sale because our youngest loves Mario. I picked up a Centipede for her.
And today I picked up a Star Wars because Star Wars is huge for all our kids.

At least that's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I agree she does play most of the uprights, we have some stools she climbs up on and plays. We just wanted to get her a few to call her own.

This is funny cause the wife and I have talked about recently. I've not come across any moppets but I'd be a little scared I'd get it and it would get about 10 minutes of play and that would be it. My 7 year old loves playing my Paperboy though.

My son used to be addicted to playing cranes anytime he could...

We went to an auction and he wanted one - he even said he would pay me for it so I picked him up one.

It's in his room and he keeps his stuffed animals in it.

Don't. The Neo Geo Mini is pretty desirable and difficult to find. Make a profit on reselling at the Neo-Geo.com forums before you convert it.
Ok I didnt know these were rare? I will look on the Neo forums. If I do convert it, I would make a new control panel and save all the original parts so it could be converted back with ease. But now im not sure maybe I should just put a 138-1 neo card in it???

The only reason I picked up a Qbert is because my Daughter asked me for one when she was 3 years old....Now she won't let me sell it :)

You could have your daughter "sell" it back to you for $10 bucks. Than way it's yours and you can just tell her that it's daddy's now and you can sell if you want.

Cmon now, with your preservation of games, you didnt know that a neo geo mini is desireable. You know that its dedicated, so whether you like it or not, it has to stay that way.

If you dont pick out a game for your kids, then i think you shouldnt be in this hobby. Otherwise, id say your selfish. I take my kids to auctions with me, I try to take them 1 at a time to have a special day with them. I have them pick out a few of the games that they would like to own. And when the bidding starts, sometimes i come home with them, but i always buy 1 of there choices even if it goes for more than i was hoping.

My girls have picked out many games, and for some reason, i have done great on all of them. Ive made alot of money after selling the games they pick out. One picked out a skeeball that i got for 100.00 six months later it was sold for 1000. We have picked up gumball machines, redemption items like cranes. Last month i came home with a DDR. All choices that the kids made.

I bought them a Shrek pinball last year for christmas. which i just sold this week so that we can get a NIB Avatar for this christmas (im gonna lose money on this, but opening a NIB game with them is priceless in my eyes)

I have never really done much research on Neo-Geo. When we got the cab home we did some research to see if they were rare, but we could not find production numbers on them. Looks like they are rare so I wont be converting it. I think a Neo multi might be the answer. I have played metal slugs on mame they are fun. but most of the games i have never played.

i dont know if the multi cart is great for this one though. With the size, only a kid can play the game, and i dont like my kids playing the fighting games, which is uncommon as most parents are the opposite. Although there are a few kid friendl games in the multi, just that most are fighting. put bust a move or something in it and your kids will have fun. I dont know the production numbers, but there are those that really will want the game. Ive sold them from 400-1200 (the 1200 was years ago at the begining of ebay) yours is not in the greatestes shape, but i wouldnt take less than 400 for it if i was selling it. Someone offered you a asteroids mini, id say that a good fair trade, and easier to sell the asteroids mini, and you could get more for the asteroids.

The leprechaun is a different story. however, there are only a few that will pay the top dollar for them, and one of those buyers is broke, and the other already has one. There was a time when that was easily a 1000 game. I dont think you can get that now, but it is still worth a good amount, id say 600-800 on it. it lakes gameplay, so i doubt you keep it long
