Do you correct non arcade game owners?

OMG! That one! (for sell)
Oh how it fills me with hate...

Payed is the one that gets me. I did mediocre in English classes in school, but now like in Idiocracy, I'm the normie supergenius that paid at least a little attention in class.

We met in person. I can honestly say that "you and class" have nothing in common! :ROFLMAO:

Birds of a feather!

(Kidding, of course... I hate that i even have to write that)

Yeah, the 'arcades' thing drives me fucking nuts. When I park my car in the garage, I don't walk in the house and then tell my wife that I parked my garage and we should take her garage to the store. When I go to the theater to watch a movie, I don't tell people later that they need to watch this theater as it was the best theater I've ever watched. When I put my cows in the barn for milking, I don't walk away later and tell everybody I just got done milking the barns. What really gets me is a lot of you oldish timers try to defend this nonsense. They are not 'arcades' and they never will be.

For 99% of the population video games are console games or phone games. Often one cannot describe an arcade style video game (or whatever is acceptable to everyone) as only a video game. If people want to shorten arcade games to arcades, whatever. The human mind is great at working out context.

I haven't searched but have we discussed the domain name for this website? Does it bother you everytime you enter the site.

I find every example posted here so far so much less offensive than anyone who says "It's been a minute" to mean it has been a long time. A minute is 60 f'n seconds, that is the OPPOSITE of a long time! Learn how to tell time and how to read a calendar and get off my lawn!

I don't sweat the small shit, and no I don't generally correct people, I try to be welcoming.......but it's an amusing thread... Bet ya'll F'in LOVE "cades" lol.

When someone moves as fast as those people think they are moving it really is only 60 seconds. But only for them. For everyone outside their relativistic frame of reference it's been sixty years. Keep up, Boomer!
