So I come across this craigslist ad:

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/vgm/3284604845.html

As usual I was disappointed by yet another ad on Craigslist by yet another "gifted" seller. However, instead of continuing on my way down the list of ads as per usual I thought to myself, "Well it is Friday after all!" and with that I sent the seller this email:

Hello,

I am replying to your Craigslist ad about the Tron arcade game for sale. I have an old mustang with a clean title that I would trade for the game outright. I'd be taking a loss but if the Tron is in really nice condition that's okay. Otherwise, you can add in some cash to make the trade fair.

Here's a picture of my old mustang! JUST LOOK AT HOW CLEAN THE TITLE IS!!!

Anyway, please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks,

I just received his response:

Sent from my iPhone

LOL!!! Two things confirmed... 1) People can't read anymore and 2) Even idiots carry iphones.

Only if you run the light cycles indoors

I saw that same ad. I usually assume anyone who thinks they can get a car for a game to be an idiot that isn't worth dealing with.

You should have sent him this picture here. It is on our local craigslist and is in the same price range as an unshopped tron.

The stupid thing is that if this exact car was in Australia and in that crap condition it would probably bring around $4~8K
