Anyone know? If a machine was all original, would the serial number on the monitor be the same as on the cab? Before someone chimes in with, "why don't you compare them, dumbass", I have a reason...:D

I am currently restoring a Mario Bros widebody, and when I got it there was no serial tag on the back (it had been converted to a different game) but the monitor appears original, and has a few numbers on it that may be a serial number:
24118998
32 24961

These are both printed on stickers on the metal chassis tray, next to a sticker with the Sanyo model number and mfg. date. I'm hoping to find out what serial number my cab could have been.

Most games I've seen do have a matching serial number on the cab, board, monitor and power supply. There are exceptions, of course.

Williams games had matching tags on MPU, ROM, I/O, Sound and Power Supply boards as well as the power brick and the monitor. The cabinet had the serial number stamped on it, sometimes multiple times if the assembler was bored.

I have a MACH 3 cockpit that has matching numbers on all the boards, monitor, laser disc player, power supply, cabinet. The only thing not original is the laser disc, had to replace it because it had laser rot but it didn't have a serial number on it anyway. I also think Dragon's Lair boards had matching numbers but all mine are different since it was patched together with parts from all over. My newest game, Team Plays Star Trek Voyager cockpit has matching numbers on the ATX power supply,MPU metal cover, coin box, dollar bill acceptor, monitor tube, inside the cabinet and the main label on the back outside of the cabinet so I would say a lot of games did but I'll bet some did not.
