Ok so I'm new to the idea of rejuvenating but I'm pretty sure I've heard you guys talk about my same monitor symptoms so here's what I got. A 25" WG K7000 series tube/chassis. Game shows up clear and focused but slightly yellow tinted and dull compared to what it should be. I goto the test screen and match the colors with the bars to get a perfect contrast with no "bleeding". It seems when I adjust the blue I do get a bit more bleeding than the others. Seems like my blue tube gun might be weaker than the others? If I do need a rejuv can someone recommend a moderate priced one on the market for a beginner?
Thanks!

Possibly — the rejuvenator will show you what the individual guns are emitting, so you can see what's going on. The color issue is almost certainly just an adjustment, likely your green bias is set too high, cutoff too low, or both.

The older B&K 467, 470, and 480 are all fairly reasonably priced. Expect to pay $100-$250 depending on model, condition, and number of adapters included.

You can also hit up some of the SMAC guys, I'm sure someone can get you straightened out if you take it to a repair party.

caps affect the color balance/bleed also.

has your chassis had a cap kit.

a 467 is what i use and i love it.
this model can be had for anywhere between 40-120 on the bay.

and if you do not get a CR23 or CR31 adapter with it i can make you one.

any tube i get i like to test to see what it's condition is.

Peace
Buffett

Thanks Buffett, I plan on getting some help locally with a rejuvenator soon. Ill keep in touch if I go the route of buying one myself and need an adapter.
This board hasn't been capped in well over a decade. Sitting in storage for a long time.
