$9.95 per DMD sheet.

thoughts? looks like a pretty dramatic effect to me. wondering if anybody has tried it and if they think its worth it....only concern i would have is darkening the DMD too much.

I have them. Worth the $10, however, I had issues where the glue is not holding on the edges.

When initially installed, it is AMAZING!

I put it on IM first, now there is ZERO glare on the glass. But, over time on the Bally games, they slid down about an inch. Better glue/tack maybe?

fwiw, i installed one of these on my TRON. there is now ZERO DMD glare on the glass.

and the darkening effect on the DMD is minimal. very happy with the $10 purchase.

I agree that it works, but honestly I have never played a pinball machine and thought to myself, "Wow, that glare from the DMD is awful!!" Now I have said that with lights in the room, or from the backglass on some occasions (like Sterns with the solid flourescent tube).

Yeah, I agree. This is one of those things where if you've lived with it all along you don't even really notice it. Plus, glare that far up the playfield isn't dangerous to the ball in play. It's when you get nasty overhead light glare at the mid or bottom of the playfield that it really screws you up.

i've thought to myself "wow, that glare from the dmd is awful" many a time. it's annoying and simply doesn't need to be there as there are options to correct it.

no, it typically doesn't affect gameplay......but there's some cool stuff in the tops of some playfields that i'd like to be able to see. as a for instance: DE SW.....when you get tri-ball you can't see ANYTHING from the top of the playfield (R2, ramp, the cool artwork at the top, etc) because the DMD is so bright/pulsing at that particular moment.
