Turned on my DKJr today and the left side of the screen looks like it's jumping up and down. I wasn't sure what to even start to look for with this one. Monitor or PCB? Anyone that could give me some advice as to where to start looking I would greatly appreciate it.

The video quality blows, but it'll give ya the gist of it.

Is your game in a cold place? My Donkey Kong monitor does the same thing in 30 to 40 degree weather for a few minutes then it's fine. If it isn't in a cold place the monitor looks like it could use a cap kit.

Thanks for the response. It's in the house, so it's pretty much room temp. I put a cap kit on it a few months ago and it was fine, but maybe I have a bad solder spot?

Just a shot here, but you might try adjusting the horizonal or vertical adjustment pots on your board before doing anything more involved. Every once in while when I swap boards I'll get something even more drastic than that, where the whole left side the screen falls down. Adjusting those pots seems to clear it up.

Probably one of the two pots on the pcb. Work those a bit and see if they clear up. Replacment will be either 30kΩ or 50kΩ.
