I'm sitting at 295k currently, but I burned out a bit and haven't even turned it on in 6 months. I'll get back at it again eventually.

Nice Score!

I'm just starting to break past the harder on stages on Jr. I'm lucky to break 100K now. 555 is awesome.

I've gotten in the 700k range before. I tried playing Richie's DKjr but couldn't get used to the jump button... which made the spring board level "fun". :)

Whats soo different about Richies Jump Button? What Level where you on when you got the 700k? TY For the nice comments!

Thats a impressive score. I would love to start playing DKjr. again. Haven't played one ever since I visited Utah!

Very nice score! Way to go, buddy!

TY Mark Buddy! I have been watching your video's recently !

You say too watch someone else's video from Level 4 on. They are playing super fast. Is that really the way too do it after level 3? You would think you would lose points on the mario's Hideout doing that way .

I have intended, but not gotten to yet, to post a Level 5 and beyond video. No, rushing through the Hideout is not the best way to score points. In my video, I demonstrate a few strategies on the Hideout, but I don't linger there because it's incredibly boring to watch. The best way to score points throughout the game is never to rush through, but to set up the best fruit-drop. It's unfortunate that the designers made the timer so slow on this level, but one million can still be scored by breezing through this level, which significantly cuts down the length of the game timewise. The only level where speed is important to scoring the Springboard level, much like the Spring level on Donkey Kong.

I have! :)

That's my score at Richie's, I haven't been able to get much going score-wise lately and was hoping to get past 515k in one hr at the tourney recently but was really sick with the flu during it and just was not into playing 1 hr games at all.

One of my goals is to kill screen the game live at Richie's place soon.

Great score btw!

TY Steve!

question for Mark how do you know on the Jungle levels on the 2nd Vine blue SnapJaw is going too go down that vine? So you can hit 2 of them with the fruit? Or 3 on the other levels!

On the Spring board seems like the birds can change there Patterens sometimes.

Well, one really cannot predict for sure when the blue snapjaws will go down vines, however you can influence the blue ones by either running towards or swinging towards vines you would like them to travel down. This is similar to controlling the barrels in DK, and similarly they are easiest to influence after L=4.

On the Spring board seems like the birds can change there Patterens sometimes.

The pattern for which Mario releases the birds at the top of the screen doesn't change and will vary according to what level you are on. I am convinced though that every third or fourth bird will make their turn toward you in the chain area according to your position in the playfield. This means that if you are able to execute a specific pattern over and over, it may seem that the birds are released and turn downward in a specific way. But if you vary from the pattern at all for any reason, the board instantly becomes an ad-lib situation.

What causes me the most prblems is when the Super Jump does'nt happen on the Sping when it should. It throws off my Bird Patteren way off.

nothing too report here highest score since the 550k score has been 415k

Been working on Patterens at the moment. Starting too get better at controling snapjaws.

Damm Nitpickers are my most pain in the butt right now. If the Spring super jump does'nt work the first time it completely mess's up my Bird Patteren.

I've only gotten up to the second spring board level, mainly because I can't get past the bottom part of it. Maybe once, I'm not sure, but that's my main stumbling block. I never have trouble with the birds. Another portion of my deaths are in trying to get two of the snappers in one shot with a fruit, versus just breezing past them. Or in getting a snapper with the top fruit, pushing too far and then jumping off the vine from way up. I haven't really thought about patterns on DKJr...thought there really weren't any by design. Haven't played in a while, so now's a good time to re-visit it.

You should really go watch Marks Youtube video's.

On the Sping you need too do a Super Jump on the spring onto the plantform.

You Just hit the Jump Button 3 times as your hitting the spring. DKJR Should fry super high.

It takes time too master it . Sometimes it does'nt workout for me and mess'es up my bird Patteren.

Yes there is Patterens too the game DKJR

I wish i could post videos of my game play but at this moment i have no way too.
