Was testing some DKJ and DK boards last night and when I fired up one of the DKJs this was the high score screen, which was different from all the one other ones I had tested — I think the rest were all just the standard three letters. I note that it played fine, but the screen seemed shorter than the rest. Of course the name that jumped to me right off the bat was Miyamoto. I'm just curious as to what I have and if anyone has seen this before.
Also, the final pic is of DK. Anyone know why the one number is offset? The board played fine beyond that.

The DK Jr. is the Japanese romset.

The DK issue looks like a PCB problem.

I got a PM on this and the gyst was that the board was probably a bootleg. Here's a pic of the board and it says Nintendo, but after it the text has been scratched out. So I'm guessing this is a Japanese PCB.

Yeah, you can check out the japanese roms in MAME if you want but it sure looks like you have a Japanese DK Jr. board. That's pretty sweet!
