If you are certain amp is good then I would check the audio input to the amp just to make certain the problem is before the amp. If it is there, at the amp input then I would look at caps. and sound chips or what ever is producing the sounds.

Which caps and which chips??

c8, c9, c10 but you need to check the audio input before you go a blindly replace parts. Usually sound problems are caps. Look over the caps listed to see if the are bulged, broken legs, etc.

Just curious, what is the voltage on pin 2 of chip at location 6r? I am looking for 12v.

how many boards is there?

not populated

C8 and C9 are not populated.

I'll check voltage tomorrow.
