I can't seem to get this to line up with the holes in the cabinet. The monitor and bottom bracket appear to be original to the cabinet, so I assume no issues there. The holes in the cabinet appear to be original too. That leaves the top horizontal bar, and the 2 L brackets.

I've got a few pictures of the problem here:

I appreciate any advice...

I've tried that, but I'll try some more. Is there any chance that my "Nintendo" horizontal bar is for a Nintendo cab that didn't use the Sanyo monitor? It doesn't fit the way I would expect.

JK is correct, I jacked this pic from the net since I can't look at any of my machines at the moment. You have the bar upside down heres a pic of how it supposed to be.

My DK is currently in pieces getting painted so I couldn't check mine either.
Greg I decided to go with blue instead of the red vinyl.

Cool man, post some pics when your done. I'm gettin' ready to vinyl my MB widebody here in the next few days. (I'm kinda stressing about it to tell the truth, never vinyled before).

Will do Greg.
I am waiting on clear polyurethane to come in to finish the cab,so I can put it back together.
I hope I get my monitor brackets in right.:p:D

Are you sealing the bare wood with the poly, or are you using it as a final coat before the vinyl application? also, what made you change your mind from red to blue? Just curious..

I opted to go with paint instead of vinyl.
I didn't like the gloss of the vinyl as I prefer a satin finish for DK.
I am using the poly to seal the blue acrylic enamel paint and to make it more durable.
Acrylic paint tends to stay a little tacky even after weeks of curing and scuffs easily.
