I just got my DK put together.

I had a pretty nicely working 20ez with some flagging/waving on the top of the monitor when it was mounted as a mario bros monitor. (horizontally mounted)

so I recapped it, found 1 cap that was way off in value (based on bob's kit) so I thought bam, I have my waving figured out for sure.

Anyway fast forward to today.....
this picture is what my monitor currently looks like.

For about 4 seconds when I flipped the game on for the 2nd time, I got a clear, viewable screen. Then it went back to this rug pattern in the picture below.
(and the fucker still had the waving/flagging it had before I capped it, only on the left side now as it sits vertically, which is the exact position it was before) lol

what do I need to adjust to get this thing straightened out?

Your flagging may be too that your B+ is low. Test it and adjust it up to 108 and see if that fixes you up.

I knew a b+ discussion was going to occur, I can't remember how to measure it (and adjust it) on this chassis.

thanks both of you guys, I will get it adjusted tomorrow

Also adjust the H pot on the board, they are very tempermental. You will have to move it just a bit, then turn it back on, or at least I have to...if I have it on and try to adjust it, I get the pattern you have... once you find a reliable setting it works great though.
