Peeling off my DK artwork, now there is the film left behind. What is the best way to remove what is left? Lighter fluid? Goo gone and a sponge? Looking for advice on how to remove the glue once the stickers are gone and now are.
Thanks

Heat gun, a plastic scraper, a six pack of your favorite brew and a lot of patience. Goo gone will loosen it up a little but I have found the best is heat.

Be careful and do not burn the finish and do not get to aggressive with the scraping. Take your time and it will come off.

If you need a break you can pull off that sweet (not) black t-moulding :)

No I have heard mixed reviews about them. Bought from 4partyfum on eBay. He sells molding for donkey kong and has like 35,000 sales and 100% feedback. I asked if it is exact and was told yes. Has over 300 sales of it and no negative feedback. Below are my two most recent purchases for this. Next is side art and it ranges from $35-$75. Besides price not sure who has the best repro art.

Definitely get the side art from Phoenix Arcade. It is the most accurate out there.
It is offset printed just like the original. I lent Darrin my NOS side art to repro it.

That molding is just standard 9/16 molding.
It will work but it's the wrong sheen and isn't flat like the original. I have used it in the past.
Mike's Arcade is flatter but the same sheen. Chomping's is the only one that is truly flat.
The surface of the molding slot needs to be flat for the molding to be flat though.
No biggie. A sanding block and maybe a bit of bondo and it's flat.

Chomping Quarters is 100% correct. 4partyfum tmolding is not flat and is not correct. He lied to you.

Just because someone has 100% positive feedback doesn't mean they know what they are talking about.

Thanks for the reply! Looks
Like I'll be buying from chomping quarters now also

Since you already ordered the molding I would wait to order the other molding.
See if you like it or not first. However do get the side art from Pboenix.
It is more accurate and even a bit cheaper surprisingly.
