How do i convert my DK pic back right side up. Put a different monitor in it and the pic is upside down. thanks for any help

Check your board... there is a set of switches, and it will either be switch "H" or "8" I believe. You want that in the on position. Usually you only have to change the switches if player 2 is upside down but player 1 is right side up.

Can you not turn your monitor around? I think a simple 180 turn of the monitor would fix it

That dip is for cocktail only so player 2 will flip.

Agreed.

Since you said it happened after you replaced the monitor, you probably just put the new one in upside down.

If your DK is a two-board set, you can move a jumper trace at one corner (http://www.brasington.org/arcade/tech/flip/dk.shtml) that will flip the screen.

Cool mods, I hadn't seen that before.

You could flip the tube or flip the yoke (easier). Check the yoke connection to the chassis. I have seen some that have been cut to flip the 2 halves. If not you can cut it in the middle so you have 2 2 pin connectors instead of 1 4 pin. Then flip them, pins 1&2 switch and 3&4 switch and that will flip the image. - Barry

Be sure not to connect vertical to Horizontal or you will blow the yoke.
Flip the vert. and then the horiz.

Very true, I think the spacing is different so if you cut the connector in half you would really have to force it to switch the vert and hor. - Barry

WAY easier to move the resistor to flip the image. I had to do that on my DK to get it to look right on one of my Sanyos.
