Question on order of levels on DK. Once all levels are available, it goes girders, conveyors (pies), springboards, rivets. On my DK (4 board set), after clearing the rivets screen the third time it goes girders, conveyors, girders again then springboards. The springboard screen is the third appearance of it, I am assuming its the one that a lot of people have trouble clearing. I've had my DK for several years but I haven't played the 2 board version for a long time. I was wondering if having the girder screen twice in one "level" is normal. It always happens that way on my set. Just nod if you know what I am talking about.

Yeah I think thats right . It gets confusing with the order ,

American DK goes:

Level 1 - Girders Rivets
Level 2 - Girders Elevators Rivets
Level 3 - Girders Factory Elevators Rivets
Level 4 - Girders Factory Girders Elevators Rivets (this is where the Elevators screen gets hard...aka the 3rd elevator screen).

And to add level 5 (and all levels after that)...

Level 1 - Girders Rivets
Level 2 - Girders Elevators Rivets
Level 3 - Girders Factory Elevators Rivets
Level 4 - Girders Factory Girders Elevators Rivets (this is where the Elevators screen gets hard...aka the 3rd elevator screen).
Level 5+ - Girders Factory Girders Elevators Girders Rivets

Anyone own the Japanese version? I'm assuming that one went in the same order for every level? I wonder why NOA changed it?

IIRC the second level on the JAP version is the pie factory instead of rivets

The ending screen in the Japanese version is the rivets, which makes sense when you think about it... Its where Kong is "defeated".

If you'd like to play the Japanese version it's actually available as an unlockable on DK64 for the Nintendo 64.

Yeah, it goes:

1 Girders
2 Factory
3 Elevators
4 Rivets

And then repeats at least for 3 levels- which is as far as I've gotten. But I've read that the Japanese version goes in this order all the way up. Don't know how far it goes though.
