DK jr. sound had a slow death this week. Boots fine, and plays fine, but with static and weak low volume. Almost sounds like when you loose stereo sound when one side goes out and you don't have full fidelity on the other channel. It did that for just 2 days and now no sound at all. Game coins up and plays fine. Where do I start to look? I recall something about a seperate amp on the monitor chassis on these Nintendo's Thanks in advance for the tips!

The Amp on the Monitor might need a cap kit.

Finally made time to trace the problem. Very loose sound pot adjusted and a little hot glue to keep it in place. Thanks for the help everyone.

Yeah just makes sure the solder points are clean and heat em both up with a clean iron. Maybe add a tad bit of solder if joint looks rough. Should be an easy fix if the pot just loose.
