I picked this up back in October and finally decided to knock out a couple of projects so I took down 2 cabs in the past couple of weeks. This cab was in nice condition except for the dart holes on one side and monitor needed a cap kit bad. Over all I am happy with the way these 2 projects turned out. Oh the inside of this cab was super clean since the guy who had it did not have any keys and he had owned it for 10 years.

1.Cap Kit-Monitor is Great now
2.Wet Sanded and buffed CPO- It turned out great
3.New T-Molding and Buttons
4.Striped and painted coin door along with coin plates.
5.Bondo and sanded cab
6.Primer
7.Paint
8.Final touches still need to be added (side art?/coin stickers)
9.Still need to touch up the front where I taped off to paint the black and some seeped under the tape.

You got something against side art? That's 2 'restos', no side art. On Nintendos, the side art is pretty important, as it is basically the only cabinet artwork they have other than the bezel, and you have to install it before you replace the monitor and bracket bolts. No offense, they both look decent as far as cabinet restoration goes, but I wouldn't consider them finished until you install the most vital visual pieces.

No nothing against side art, if I end up keeping these I will buy side art. Unfortunatley at the time I only have a small space in my basement available for arcade games so If I end up taking one of these out of the garage and into the basement then something else has to go.

I used a foam roller and ended up putting on 2 coats of primer then 4 coats of paint. Just rolled it on kinda light and let each coat dry for a few hours.

it kinda bums me out that the centipede i have is soooo nice..

i wanna paint one.. damn it.
