I knew I had a decent game going and thought I might push the 200k barrier, but when I started getting near 300k I got a little nervous and lost it. :p

Oh well ... probably best not to put it out of reach just yet.

I assume some that read this won't care, but my wife just cannot understand the excitement so I had to share it with someone. Why is it that these 20 year old games still have the magical ability to make me feel 10 years old again?

:)

P.S. Still a long way to go before someone makes a documentary about me, though ...

Thats a really good score ! What Level did you get to , do you remember ? I haven't broke 100K yet but getting really close . I know the feeling when you brake the High Score and then choke because you get real nervous that you did it .

Damn, that's a crazy score! Like ScumBum, I've yet to hit 100K, but I'm getting there. The 2nd spring board gives me a hard time!

That's a very respectable score on a very difficult game. I personally cannot even pass the first level.

How long did the game last to get that score?

That's awesome man.. DK Jr is still a hard game in my opinion, I've played mine nearly everyday for the last two weeks. I just get on those kicks.

Good score. I was around the same as you for quite sometime (150k range) then all of a sudden I "got it" or whatever and was able to push it.

Thanks for all of the comments everyone. The last time I recall actually looking at the level indicator, it read Level 8. So ... I am guessing it was level 9 or 10 at the most.

Nice work Stevie. That game is hard as hell. It's also my next resto, so watch yer back. I'll be creepin'.

Bring it, yo!

Looking forward to seeing your completed piece. Your restorations always look "showroom floor new"!

Thanks Hyde! It took a little over an hour.

Damn! That is strong! Now I have something (besides the TG World Record) to shoot for. :)

Again, thanks for all of the comments. I knew you guys would "get it"!

Once you get a good pattern for the 2+ level bird/spring boards and a good pattern (though this one is a lot more unpredictable due to the chomper randomness) for the 4+ level bird/chain boards (I think lvl 4 is where they max out and stay the same in terms of bird pattern) you should be able to cycle the game at will. It looks like you are at that point now so it's just a matter of staying focused as long as possible to complete the game. Well done.

Great score!

My buddy and I play DKJr on my 60n1 more than anything else on that card. He just got a 120K score while I lag behind, yet to break 100K, at 93K.
